Congratulatory Message to Beijing Review’s 60th Anniversary
Dear editors and readers of Beijing Review,
My warmest congratulations on the 60th anniversary of the publication of the Beijing Review magazine. A reputable publication, Beijing Review distinguishes itself by presenting a dynamic China to a vast number of readers at home and abroad, thanks to its feature coverage of the country’s economic, political and cultural developments and its relations with the world. A grand celebration of the jubilee is fully justified by the achievements it has made in the past decades, and will no doubt inspire more excellent reporting in the years to come.
I would also like to take this occasion to show my appreciation to Beijing Review for your constant interest in and professional coverage of Switzerland, especially regarding the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to my country in January 2017. The report gave a comprehensive picture of the development of the exceptional Sino-Swiss relations and their promising prospects.
